Preaching in the Park

Before our Lord ascended into heaven, He gave to His church the Great Commission:

"All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to keep all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
(Matthew 28:18-20, LSB)

Obedience to that Commission begins with getting the message of Christ outside the four walls of the church building. We at Sovereign Grace Baptist Church do that during the Spring/Summer/Fall (that's May–October here) by having our Tuesday night services in area parks beginning at 6:30pm.

Sometimes we meet in Brunswick at Mary Ross Park... sometimes we meet on St. Simons Island at Neptune Park... sometimes we meet on Jekyll Island at Great Dunes Park. There are others but these are our top three parks. And when it rains we meet at the pastor's house in Brunswick!

All are invited to come be with us as we preach the Word, pray, and fellowship together. Come with an open Bible (or use your Bible app if it is windy)! If you don't have a Bible, don't worry — we have extras.

We announce where we will be each week on our Facebook page, but you can also contact Pastor David Green by text or phone call at 912-215-3144 for more information.
